About EWPN
The European Women Payments Network (EWPN) is a not-for-profit organisation connecting women across Europe’s payments and fintech industries. Its mission is to support women’s professional growth, create more opportunities for women and underrepresented groups, and promote a more diverse and inclusive industry. Through local events, EWPN brings this community together to share experiences, learn from one another and build professional connections. Our meetups in Lithuania offer a welcoming space for women and allies to discuss challenges, exchange ideas and support each other’s paths to leadership.

The path to executive and board roles
What does it take to reach an executive position or earn a seat on a board? What barriers do women still face, and what helps them move forward?
Join EWPN Lithuania for an evening with leaders from banking, fintech and business. We will explore different paths to leadership, hear personal experiences, and discuss practical steps companies can take to bring more women to the decision-making table.
The evening will begin with a keynote from Rusnė Kirtiklytė, offering insights into women’s representation on boards in Lithuania and practices that support equal opportunities. This will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Agnė Daukšienė, including audience Q&A.
Stay afterwards to meet the EWPN community over snacks and mulled wine.

18:30–18:50 | Opening keynote Women on boards in Lithuania: the current landscape, barriers and practical approaches to improving gender balance.
