The seminar is intended for parents, educational specialists, social workers, and other people involved in the education and upbringing of children.
Child education and upbringing is difficult work that requires a lot of patience and wisdom. In the face of an intense pace of life, one wants to manage everything and do it as well as possible. Constant stress causes many negative emotions, which we inadvertently vent while raising children. And children are like litmus paper; they absorb all our negative emotions and begin to behave inappropriately themselves. To raise good, social children, we must be able to manage our own negative emotions. This requires understanding the nature of the emotional world, the importance and impact of our experience and received information on emotions, and knowing and being able to apply emotion management methods.
Therefore, in this seminar, we will look for answers to the questions: how to manage emotions, how not to yell at children, and how to find a way out of a dead end? What happens with growing tension and how to free oneself from it?
The goal of the seminar is not only to provide theoretical knowledge about the world of emotions but also to practically introduce methods that help manage one's emotions.
Seminar topics:
1. The nature of the emotional world (what are emotions, why are they given? Why is it important to understand emotions? Suppression of feelings).
2. Proper acceptance of experienced emotions (how to consciously accept emotions? How to work with your emotions? How to start fostering realistic expectations?)
3. Knowledge about emotion management (basic health principles; ways to discharge negative energy; basic human needs).
4. Human needs and emotions, their interrelationship.
5. How not to yell at children? Why is yelling ineffective? What knowledge helps to refrain from inappropriate behavior? Practical exercises.
6. Words of support for yourself and your child. How to always remember them and say them? Practical exercises.
