Vytenis danielius: "all eras" The elegance of classics, the passion of tango, and the freedom of jazz
We invite you to an exclusive musical evening with accordionist, composer, and singer Vytenis Danielius, where different musical eras and genres meet on one stage.
"All Eras" is a musical journey from classics to tango and jazz, where the accordion reveals itself in unexpected and colorful forms. One moment it sounds like an organ, the next it breathes with passionate tango, and soon after it dives into free jazz improvisation. This sound is complemented by Vytenis's own voice, adding even more color, intimacy, and emotion to the program.
The program will feature interpretations of classical music, Astor Piazzolla's tango, jazz classics, and pieces from Vytenis Danielius's recently released debut album "Shades of Heart". Here, the elegance of classical music merges with the expression of tango and the freedom of jazz.
Vytenis Danielius is an accordionist, composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist who freely combines different musical experiences. The performer's musical education is exceptionally versatile: he has earned three higher education music degrees in classical accordion, jazz vocals, and saxophone as a secondary instrument, having studied in Lithuania, Italy, the Netherlands, and Latvia. This multifaceted academic experience is reflected in his work, where classical tradition naturally meets the freedom of jazz and the expression of tango.
Vytenis Danielius is a laureate of the world accordion competition in Castelfidardo, a brand ambassador for "Beltuna Accordions", and a winner of prestigious international accordion competitions. His music is featured on LRT television and radio, and the performer himself performs with the most famous Lithuanian artists and tours in Europe and Asia.
