Vytenis Danielius: voice and accordion
An evening breathing with soulful ballads, jazz classics, and French elegance.
On October 16, we invite you to immerse yourself in a cozy musical journey with Vytenis Danielius – an artist whose voice and accordion sound bring together the freedom of jazz, the sophistication of classical music, and the passion of tango.
The evening's program will feature works made famous by Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé, and Kurt Elling, as well as music from his recently released debut album "Shades of Heart". In this album, jazz improvisation subtly intertwines with the elegance of classical music and the aesthetics of tango, creating a colorful, sensual, and surprise-filled musical world.
The album track "Pergalė" was selected among the most successful jazz pieces released in Lithuania in 2025 and included in the compilation "Jazz from Lithuania 2025".
Vytenis Danielius is an accordionist, singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and laureate of prestigious international competitions. His music has been performed at festivals in Europe, Asia, and other continents. Having studied in Lithuania and refined his skills in Italy, the Netherlands, and Latvia, the artist holds three higher education degrees: a bachelor's and master's in classical accordion, and a bachelor's in jazz vocals and saxophone.
This is an evening that invites you to pause for a moment, immerse yourself in music, and hear familiar melodies in a new way – sensitively, elegantly, and with the freedom of improvisation.
The Dainykla project is partially funded by the Vilnius City Municipality.
