The play features actors of the younger generation (24-30 years old) embodying characters of their own age. The main theme of the play, of course, is love: how to find it and what we call love these days; how and when to love when we are all so busy, rushing, running, spending so much time on self-realization, career, work, while leaving feelings aside, procrastinating? Questions are raised: why is finding a close person more of an exception than a rule? Why do young people, who actually seek and want the same thing, still fail to communicate? Why does fear often prevent us from meeting and being together?
The play was written during rehearsals and later, based on the personal experiences and impressions of the actors, the playwright herself, as well as people using the "Tinder" app. The play does not have a single plot line with a climax – the dramaturgy here is created from separate episodes, but all of them talk about people searching for one another. There are 8 characters and podcast hosts. Thus, the play consists of 8 dating stories of young people. It talks not only about the moment of meeting, but also about the beginning of dates, the clarification of expectations; it reveals the dangers and fears faced by those who use the "Tinder" app.
"There is a lot of desire for love here – after all, we want one-day flings, we crave to be liked, to be in company that is pleasant to us – essentially, we all want hedonistic things," says director Gabrielė Tuminaitė.
