Summer is already halfway through! It's time to get to know a completely different Vilnius and have a fun Friday evening!
On Friday, July 10th, at 7:00 PM, an unusual tour will take place, during which we will walk together through the most fun and spicy corners of our city, find out where the Vilnius proletariat, bohemians, and aristocracy used to spend their time, and where and how men and women used to meet. Among other things, I will tell you:
about the strangest and most memorable couple in Vilnius, who lived in our city until recently;
which woman was one of the first to challenge society and start wearing trousers;
where the Red Light District was in Vilnius, who the Vilnius night butterflies were, and who their clients were;
how and where Vilnius residents had fun during the Tsarist Empire, while being part of the Republic of Poland, and during the USSR years; we will recall more than one anecdote from those times;
which nightclub managed to sell a record amount of real champagne and become the most famous place in all of Lithuania;
Of course, I will also tell you about what I consider to be the most unusual and interesting places in Vilnius today. This will be the practical part of the tour. After this tour, you will be able to continue getting to know modern, spicy Vilnius on your own.
For the occasion of Friday, the guide will treat you to champagne, and other pleasant surprises await.
