After a successful premiere, the ballet "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs" returns to the stage!
Having received great interest from the audience and warm ovations, the ballet "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" once again invites you to immerse yourself in a vivid, modernly reborn fairy tale. This is more than a classic story – this ballet hides a deep message about the desire for power, jealousy, the power of community, and true values that are relevant in any era.
The author of the ballet's idea and libretto, as well as the composer, is Jonas Sakalauskas; the choreography and direction were created by Marijanas Staniulėnas, and the ballet master is Kristina Gudžiūnaitė. The most prominent Lithuanian ballet artists appear on stage: Kristina Gudžiūnaitė, Olga Konošenko. The characteristic characters of the seven dwarfs give the performance a special color – professional dancers who create a unique rhythm, expression, and an unexpected synthesis of dance genres on stage.
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is not just a fairy tale for children, but a profound ballet work that invites adults to rethink the importance of empathy, community, and creativity, and children to experience the magic of dance and the stage, discover the power of friendship, and immerse themselves in the magical world of the fairy tale.
Audiences can expect expressive choreography, sensitive solo numbers, suggestive, authentic music performed live by an orchestra and soloists, born from a modern creative vision, and a visually rich stage where the fairy tale organically merges with dance.
Duration – 1 hour 30 minutes (with one intermission).
This contemporary ballet has become an exceptional cultural event for the whole family and returns once again to unite generations, emotions, and live Lithuanian creativity. See you there!
