Children's Summer Camp
About this event
The Vilnius Ethnic Culture Centre invites little curious minds to spend their summer days at the "Holidays with Ethnic Culture" camp. This is a day camp where participants can look forward to various educational activities, excursions, games, and creative tasks that allow them to get to know our traditional culture better.
The camp is organized in two shifts: June 29 – July 3 and July 27–31. The age of camp participants is 7–12 years old.
The price includes: • all materials for activities; • educational programs; • lunch; • snacks and drinks (tea, fruit, cookies, etc.).
Planned daily schedule:
9:30 Arrival. 9:30–10:00 Morning together. Morning exercise, discussion of the day's goals and expectations, active activities. 10:00–11:00 Educational activity I (crafts, music, etc.). 11:00–12:30 Educational activity II (crafts, music, etc.).
12:30–13:30 LUNCH
14:00–16:00 Excursion (educational activities in city museums, parks, etc.). 16:00–17:30 End of the day. Return to the camp premises, afternoon snack, discussion of the day, evening games, waiting for parents.
A detailed program will be sent to parents before the camp begins; the indicated activities may change slightly while maintaining the camp's theme.
The camp is funded by the Vilnius City Municipality.
