"tremolo" (it. trembling) – a musical term denoting the rapid repetition of a single note, interval, or chord.

Director Laura Kutkaitė and her team invite you to a performance-lecture about pleasure, which also includes documentary stories of people who identify as women. The chosen title "tremolo" is interpreted as a trembling – both from pleasure and from fear. The fear of not meeting the "norms" created or imposed by society in the context of sexual pleasure. The fear of living according to the expectations imposed by others, which we embody so often that we no longer even notice it.

What has been and is being repeated to us many times? What remains unspoken, but what would we like to know, understand, and hear from another so that each of us could feel normal and healthy in our sexual life? The director chooses the format of a performative lecture, which best allows touching upon the topics of women's body awareness, sexual health, and self-esteem through the main prism – sexual pleasure. The creator combines research-based information with the documentary genre.

"Gentle force" – this is how the creative team describes the work. The piece is presented at the VU Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (Naugarduko st. 24, Vilnius, room 101).
