An Hour of Traditional Hymns

As the boundary between the world of the living and the dead gradually fades, the Vilnius Ethnic Culture Centre invites you to remember your departed loved ones to the sound of traditional hymns, also known as kantičkos.

The Hour of Traditional Hymns, taking place on October 26 at 7:00 PM at the Church of All Saints in Vilnius (Rūdninkų St. 20), is not a concert, but a cozy gathering filled with bright thoughts, the resonance of kantičkos hymns, and a peaceful meeting of those who are alive on earth and those who are alive in heaven.

Your heart will be soothed by traditional hymns performed by the Vilnius folklore ensemble "Ūla" (led by Janina Bukantaitė) and the traditional singing ensemble "Po skliautu" from the Church of St. Francis of Assisi (Bernardine) (led by Dalia Vaicenavičienė).
