Užupis is a place where art is simply in the air. For the past twenty-five years, it has not just been a district, but a separate Republic, created by the initiative of creative people in what was once one of the poorest parts of the capital. A constitution, a president, a prime minister, ambassadors, holidays – these are things worth talking about, and not just to foreign tourists. During the tour, you will get to know both the bohemian side of the Republic, full of fun anecdotes, and the area's rich historical past – it is not for nothing that they say Užupis is the oldest suburb of Vilnius.
