Those moments…. like A desert wind

Dalius Naujo Solo in memory of Audrius Naujokaitis. Improvisation accompanied by video and audio material from the past.

This time at the Music Magic Club, Dalius will play percussion, drums, piano, and electronics solo!

In a certain part of the concert, Dalius will improvise alongside a 20-minute video/audio montage projected by poet and filmmaker Julius Ziz, created by Audrius Naujokaitis, Eugenijus Varkalis, and Jonas Mekas. These are moments from music evenings with friends at the Anthology Film Archives in New York and Jonas Mekas on solo drums in 1996-1997.

Additionally, Dalius will improvise alongside 10 minutes of projected video/audio material filmed by Jonas Lozoraitis from the "Nojo Airlines Orchestra" concert at Down Town Forest Hostel in 2025, in Vilnius.

The concert will last about 50 minutes.

Dalius Naujokaitis is a pilgrim of avant-garde experimental music and free jazz, currently living and creating in New York (USA), having started his musical career in Lithuania and constantly returning here with various projects. Dalius Naujokaitis-Naujo is a free musician playing free music, free from any musical clichés and stylistic frames, from traditional sound production traditions, and from conventional forms of creation. The entire rich sounding world has soaked into the musical fabric of Dalius Naujokaitis – it contains elements of music from various countries and regions, features of various directions and genres, and the sounds and noises of the world surrounding him. A creator and performer distinguished by extraordinary expression, he finds music everywhere – from the sounds of nature to the resonance of cities, and the musical instruments touched by his hands can become the most diverse objects – dishes, stair railings, a saw, etc.
