Theatrical installation "Soap Opera: Bubble's Love" based on Ieva Babilaitė's book "Dusia, Air and Water"
Nominated for the Golden Stage Cross
Imagine that it is now the distant future and there are no lakes, flowers, or birds. Everything is just an installation. Two people from the future will present it to you. They will show you how life began, sing in Latin about the forest, the seasons, an anthill, mycelium, spiders, and a whale. They will demonstrate a sunset, the ocean, and corals. You will see the reasons why everything is different now, only in a laboratory, why we don't have lakes and flowers, why the bees are artificial, why Dusia is sick. And what to do, how to reclaim nature?
Humanity has become so advanced that it can create anything: the most elaborate clothes, artificial bubbles, but it cannot create life. Humans have forgotten that they are part of nature. However, upon entering the laboratory, DNA memory stored in cells returns. The desire to restore it never disappears. Where do we come from? The audience has the opportunity to be a Dusia, a bee, an ant, but in doing so, they experience the process of nature's destruction.
Performance for families and children from 7 years old
