Theatrical comedy THE FATHER-IN-LAW

Legendary showman Arūnas Valinskas returns to the theater stage! One of the country's most famous stand-up comedy masters, Mantas Bartuševičius, makes his debut. And the talented actress Vaida Baranovė stands between these men and is about to become the favorite redhead in the country. You will soon see this company in the new theater comedy "Uošvis" (The Father-in-Law). The scriptwriter is Tadas Vidmantas, and the play is directed by Balys Latėnas, who has created more than one hit on theater stages.

Finding the courage to propose to your beloved is certainly not an easy task. Sometimes doubts about feelings force you to delay, sometimes financial or other domestic problems, but sometimes it happens that the biggest challenge of the proposal becomes... the bride's father.

Jurgis (M. Bartuševičius) is a self-confident young history teacher who dreams of becoming a writer. His beloved Vika (V. Baranovė) is an interior designer. Although folklore claims that where there are two, a third is not needed, in this situation, it will be impossible to do without a third... Vika's father Raimundas (A. Valinskas) is a former "security officer," a wealthy and extremely strict man. It is obvious that Jurgis, wanting to marry his daughter, will have to sweat quite a bit...

Why do people who love each other choose a life in a web of lies? Can those born in different eras find a common language? Can the love of young people still overcome all difficulties?

A new, intriguing, sharp-humored theater comedy "Uošvis" begins its journey through theater halls all over Lithuania on April 21st.
