The major Sapieha Palace exhibition "Housekeeping in Dangerous Times" examines the practices of contemporary artists seeking to grasp the forces that shape the differences between life stages and the connections between generations.

In their works, the artists featured in the exhibition turn to the role of everyday technologies in the self-creation of contemporary humans—in the processes of identity formation and expression, in relationships with others, as well as in the concept of maturity and the societal expectations and supporting infrastructures that define it.

Home, understood both as a physical space and a virtual medium, becomes a place where life narratives split and are pieced back together, where threads of interpersonal relationships, fragments of popular culture, and incessant information flows intertwine.

The exhibition "Housekeeping in Dangerous Times" is complemented and expanded by the "Sound Room" – a media library and meeting space curated by Vladas Dieninis and Benas Trakimas ("Method, Sound & Silence", SODAS 2123). It presents exhibits from the history of the Lithuanian underground, alternative music, and sound art, original collections of recordings and publications, as well as the work of contemporary musicians.
