As autumn approaches, Vilnius invites you to catch a glimpse of the heart of Andalusia. In the intimate space of "Downtown Piano Lab," a real, live flamenco performance, breathing with the Spanish spirit, will ignite!
Tablao flamenco is an authentic performance experience where there is no distance between the performer and the audience – a cozy environment, wooden floors, and a closeness within reach that allows you to hear every heel strike and every breath, where the rhythm is transmitted through the body and emotions take over the entire space.
On stage – professional flamenco performers from Lithuania and Poland:
Evelina Vabalis – a flamenco dancer whose movements enchant with their subtlety and power, and whose lightness of elegance and earth-bound foot rhythm leave no one indifferent. Her journey with flamenco, spanning more than a decade, took her to Granada and Seville, where she studied this art, and while living in Vilnius, she founded the dance studio "La Canastera Estudio Flamenco," where she nurtures the authentic flamenco tradition, teaches the subtleties of this expressive dance, and encourages discovering one's individuality through this art.
Luiza Romanowska – a flamenco dancer whose dance touches with emotional depth and sincerity, and whose many years of study in Spain give her self-expression an authentic, lively, and mischievous character. Founder and teacher of the "Anda Lu" dance school in Gdańsk, and the dance groups "Toma Que Toma" and "Los Mariscos." She can also be seen dancing on tablao stages in Poland and Spain.
Mateo Gallito – voice and rhythm in one body. A singer, dancer, and pianist whose work combines tradition and contemporary interpretation. His stage experience spans across Europe, collaborating with the most prominent names in flamenco. Each of his performances is an intense emotional journey where pain and joy sound in one voice.
Michał Krygowski – a guitarist whose playing is like the backbone of the entire performance. His accompaniment not only supports but also breathes together with the dancers and the singer. A sound hardened on Andalusian stages gives the evening true flamenco authenticity.
Come and experience flamenco as it is born – sincerely, live, and from very close up!
