A play for the whole family

A spooky comedy for the whole family, "Būū" is about the courage that is born from laughter.

The play "Būū" (dir. Žilvinas Beniušis) weaves together cheerful clowning and the magical technique of hand shadow theater. This lively combination will draw the whole family into the unusual journey of the main character, Martynas, where a computer screen becomes a gateway to the world of the devil Šiurpius himself.

When video game enthusiast Martynas finds himself in the terrifying kingdom of Šiurpius, not only does a desperate fight for survival begin, but also an adventure full of laughter, surprises, and challenges.

You will see how Martynas manages to fight the devil and save human souls enslaved by fear in this modern interpretation of the fairy tale "About the Blacksmith Who Tricked Death and the Devil" – the spooky comedy "Būū".
