These courses are just for you!
You will study for just a month and a half. Lectures will take place once a week, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Study program
Introduction to wine: production, factors shaping style. Basics of tasting.
White wine, its variety and differences.
Red and rosé wine, their variety and differences.
Sparkling wine. Different production methods and producing countries.
Naturally sweet and fortified wines. Differences, production methods, and countries.
Wine and food pairing, wine service. Practical session.
Each lecture consists of theoretical material presented by an expert and a tasting of 4-6 wines reflecting the theory.

Requirements for students
Students at the school can be any wine enthusiasts and industry professionals aged 20 and over.
No prior knowledge of wine is required to study at the school. We start learning from the basics of tasting and systematically deepen our knowledge.
Studies are conducted in Lithuanian and are in-person only.
Social responsibility
Socially responsible alcohol consumption is part of all training programs organized by the Lithuanian Sommelier School.
We use spittoons in all lectures, and students are provided with water. We are also proud to be part of the international moderate consumption organization "Wine in Moderation".
