Premiere for children

What would you do if you had a magic wand? How to get rid of bad habits? Why did the cooks grate a flowerpot into the salad? We will explore such questions in this Teatro P premiere.

What is this meeting about?

Poetry comes alive: We don't believe in boring poetry readings. We believe that a poem can run like a white horse, sprout like a cabbage, or swim like a little fish stoking a fire.

True stories: On stage, not only the verses of famous poets will intertwine, but also our own childhood adventures – those real ones, the ones that happened and didn't, which only occur when you are a child.

Solving "here and now": Together with the children, we will dive into a whirlwind of tricky problems and unexpected adventures, which only imagination and a good mood will help to overcome.

Why is it worth coming?

Teatro P founders Balys and Artūras are characterized by a unique ability to find a common language with modern children. As theater critic Dovilė Zaveckaitė notes, their vitality and enthusiasm for poetry are contagious. Here, the word becomes the most interesting toy, and the stage – a place where nothing is impossible.

Teatro P mission: To present poetry in such a way that even those who have never read it will leave in love with it. Therefore, we are waiting for everyone – both poetry fans and the biggest skeptics!

About the creators: * Balys Ivanauskas - actor, director, actively working in several Lithuanian theaters (Stalo teatras, Juozas Miltinis Drama Theatre, Kaunas City Chamber Theatre, etc.), several plays nominated for Golden Stage Crosses. The creator is also engaged in pedagogical activities - conducts theater lessons for children.
