"Tėvas" is the latest play by Teatro P, consisting of poems, autobiographical stories, and live music.
Three creators: director and actor Balys Ivanauskas, saxophonist Kazimieras Jušinskas, and guitarist Justinas Žilys, using the poetry of Mindaugas Nastaravičius, have created a sensitive, lively, and humorously realistic piece that invites the search for connection.
*Balys Ivanauskas – actor, director, actively working in several Lithuanian theaters (Stalo teatras, Juozas Miltinis Drama Theatre, Kaunas City Chamber Theatre, etc.), several plays nominated for "Golden Stage Crosses". The creator is also engaged in pedagogical activities – conducting theater lessons for children. Founder of "Teatro P".
*Justinas Žilys – jazz guitarist, educator, playing with many ensembles and projects (In albedo, Delasferos, Kafka: Insomnia, solo work).
*Kazimieras Jušinskas – a young generation saxophonist actively performing at Lithuanian jazz festivals. He is a participant in interdisciplinary projects: in director Karolis Kaupinis' films "Radvila Darius, Vytautas", director Kamilė Gudmonaitė's opera "Things I Didn't Dare to Say, and Now It's Too Late", and director Žilvinas Vingelis' play "Kafka Insomnia". His musicianship is characterized by inner expression, spontaneity, the search for non-traditional sounds, the ability to blend into the ensemble's soundscape, and creative thinking. He is currently actively performing in free improvisation collectives "Illucid", "DJ Extended feat. Kazimieras Jušinskas", and "Katarsis4", and the punk-jazz group "Džiazlaif".
The mission of "Teatro P" is to present poetry in such a way that even those who do not read it will come to love it, so we welcome not only poetry lovers to the performance, but also those who do not!
