On November 10, the Kaunas State Philharmonic will host a solo recital by pianist Kasparas Uinskas featuring a new program showcasing two geniuses of the Romantic era – Fryderyk Chopin and Johannes Brahms. Timeless music in the interpretation of K. Uinskas. On November 12, listeners at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic will also have the opportunity to hear this program.

Internationally acclaimed pianist K. Uinskas performs in major world venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the J.F. Kennedy Center in Washington, Wigmore Hall in London, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Madrid Philharmonic, BoZar in Brussels, and many others. These international performances have instantly earned the highest critical acclaim and audience recognition. K. Uinskas was invited for the second time to participate in legendary pianist Martha Argerich’s festival in Hamburg, where he performed with cellist Alexander Kniazev at the Hamburg Laeiszhalle. The pianist first performed at this festival in a duo with pianist Evgeni Bozhanov.
In 2024, one of Germany’s largest record labels, Hänssler Classic, released a CD of pianist Kasparas Uinskas featuring works by Liszt. The album was nominated for one of the most prestigious classical music awards, the “International Classical Music Awards,” in the category of Best Solo Album of the Year. The CD immediately received the prestigious Pizzicato “Supersonic award.”

In December 2025, Hänssler Classic released a CD by K. Uinskas featuring two F. Chopin concertos, recorded live with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra at the “Great Amber Hall” in Liepāja. “What a performance! I expected nothing, and it simply stunned me. This disc plays in my player every morning, and I keep discovering new details, ideas, colors, unique phrasing, and diminuendos that seem to stop time,” writes Jean-Charles Hoffelé from artamag.fr.
In previous seasons, K. Uinskas has appeared with orchestras including the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia (Belgium), Philharmonie Südwestfalen (Germany), the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra (Latvia), the North Czech Philharmonic (Czech Republic), the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra (Czech Republic), the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Krakow Symphony Orchestra, the Rosario Symphony Orchestra in Argentina, as well as solo performances at London’s Wigmore Hall, the “Piano Master Series” at Baerum Kulturhus and the Bodø Festival Nordland Musikkfestuke in Norway, BoZar in Brussels and the Brussels Piano Festival, a concert tour in Japan as part of the “Fantastic Pianist” series, the Slovak Philharmonic, in Zurich (Switzerland), Mumbai (India), solo and chamber music concerts in Norway, Italy, Austria, Germany, a chamber music tour with cellist A. Kniazev and Tchaikovsky Competition winner cellist Andrei Ionita, cellist Aleksei Shadrin, violin stars Svetlin Roussev, Boris Brovtsyn, and a series of other concerts.
