Philip glass. selected etudes DARIUS MAŽINTAS | piano
December 27 | 17:00 Lithuanian Artists' Association Vokiečių St. 4, Vilnius
Between Christmas and New Year, there are a few special days when the city briefly calms down and time seems to slow. It is a time to be together, to share warmth, and to give each other not things, but moments that last a long time.
In the heart of Vilnius Old Town, in the cozy hall of the Lithuanian Artists' Association, pianist Darius Mažintas invites you to a special piano evening featuring selected etudes by Philip Glass – music full of light, silence, and the flow of time. These are pieces where simple sounds gradually turn into a sensitive narrative, and the repetitive rhythm invites you to stop, listen, and be in the present moment.
In Darius Mažintas' interpretation, Philip Glass's music unfolds very subtly – it does not rush, it does not impose emotions, but allows each listener to discover their own story. This is a concert where the sound of the piano becomes an intimate conversation, and the cozy space creates a special connection between the performer and the audience.
To preserve this exceptional atmosphere, we invite only 50 listeners to the concert. This is a rare opportunity to experience music from very close up – without rushing, without noise, with all its peace and beauty.
A ticket to this concert can become one of the most beautiful Christmas gifts. Not an object that is forgotten after a while, but an evening spent together. An experience that warms, inspires, and remains in the memory for a long time. Sometimes the most beautiful gifts do not fit under the Christmas tree – they remain in the heart.
Allow yourself and your loved ones to be gifted an evening where music speaks quieter than words, but touches much deeper.
