We invite you to visit the documentary exhibition "Multi-ethnic Deportation of 1941" by Daumantas Levas Todesas and Žilvinas Beliauskas, currently on display in the Conference Hall of the Tuskulėnai Memorial, dedicated to revealing the history of the June 1941 deportations.
The exhibition presents a lesser-known side of the history of the June 1941 deportations – it reveals that Soviet repressions affected not only Lithuanians, but also the Jewish, Polish, and other national communities living in Lithuania. The authors of the exhibition invite viewers to look at the history of the deportations as a tragedy experienced by all citizens of Lithuania, emphasizing the losses and fates of the multi-ethnic Lithuanian society in the face of Soviet repressions.
The project was supported by the Department of National Minorities. The exhibition has been presented in various museums and cultural centers across Lithuania.
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
