They don't ask for your attention — but they will have it anyway.
No Name Jazz Fellas — a modern jazz trio from Lithuania, combining professionalism with a quietly rebellious artistic spirit. The trio was founded in 2022 by pianist Dmitrij Golovanov — one of the most highly regarded and active jazz pianists in Lithuania. All three — well-known names in the Lithuanian jazz scene — respond boldly and clearly to today's fame industry: with deep creativity, occasional irony, and always — absolute dedication to quality.
Is it a concert? A philosophical statement? A very elegant protest? Yes.
No Name Jazz Fellas — it is more than a clever play on words. It is a concept: three high-level artists who have chosen to step out of the shadow of the cult of personality and let the music speak first. Their programs include boldly reworked jazz standards, experimental original compositions, and gestures of respect to Chick Corea — every performance is an invitation to experience something authentic and unpredictable.
The trio has already left a noticeable mark on the Lithuanian jazz landscape. Each member is actively involved in various acclaimed projects and festivals — both in Lithuania and internationally — but this project stands out for its artistic clarity and honest philosophy. They are not afraid to be humorous or ironic. However, behind the modest name lies a serious commitment to jazz music at the highest level.
"No name, no fame, no need for recognition" — this is not just their motto. It is their method.
