The contemporary Lithuanian music festival MUSIC AUTUMN will take place from October 1–10 at the Vilnius Automuseum's Serpentine space, the Energy and Technology Museum, "Muzeoteka", the Composers' House, and the contemporary art platform "Smala".
This year's festival theme is sonic anthropology, and the axis uniting the repertoire is junctions: points of contact where different materials, ideas, experiences, and ways of perceiving reality meet.
The festival programs feature encounters between human and technology, body and instrument, voice and vibrating string, individual experience and collective creation, composed structure and spontaneous improvisation.
