Musical comedy "Some Like It Hot"

A musical comedy from the Riga touring theater "Ā"!

A world comedy masterpiece

This is not just a play, but an immortal classic that has conquered the hearts of millions! A cult plot, staged for decades to sold-out crowds on the world's leading theater stages, will now unfold before you in a completely new, bold interpretation.

About the production and the unique troupe

The play is presented by the Riga touring theater "Ā" (creators of the hit comedy "Dinner with a Fool"). A truly star-studded international troupe has been assembled for this production – the most talented actors from Estonia, Latvia, Poland, and Spain will meet on one stage.

A special pride of the project is the comedic Estonian duo Sergei Rymar and Boris Bogdanov, who already made you cry with laughter in "Dinner with a Fool". Their wild energy and wonderful acting organicism turn every performance into a true pearl of the comedy genre. These guys are incredibly funny!

Plot: High heels, jazz, a double bass, and no idea how to walk in heels!

A series of stupid coincidences forces two ordinary musicians, Bill and Phil, to urgently change their environment and get lost in the crowd. And the guys find a brilliant (or so they think) solution – to join a touring women's jazz band! They pull on dresses, get up on heels, and turn into Bella and Phyllis. But how long will the brutal guys be able to hide their true nature surrounded by beauties and persistent fans?

A new breath of classic The director of the play has done a huge job: the familiar material has been boldly reworked, modernized, and filled to the brim with completely new, sparkling jokes and unexpected comedic situations. Even if you know this story by heart and have seen it before, our play will be able to surprise you and give you a sea of fresh emotions!
