Start your morning differently – on a paddleboard!
Forget traffic jams, crowded public transport, or queues for coffee. There is a much better way to start the day – paddling down the Neris on a paddleboard, watching Vilnius wake up!
Imagine: fresh morning air, the calm surface of the river, the sounds of birds, and city silhouettes bathed in the morning sun in the distance. This is not just a trip – it is a ritual that recharges you for the whole day, allows you to be with yourself, feel the pulse of nature, and rediscover the city where you live or are visiting.
The tour starts at Žirmūnai beach. Later, the embrace of nature and the sounds of birds are replaced by city views and architectural masterpieces from various eras: the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Gediminas Tower, the Raduškevičiai Palace, the National Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Church of St. Philip and St. James, modern skyscrapers, and other city landmarks. You will finish the tour at the White Bridge (Baltasis tiltas).
This is a great opportunity to admire the waking Vilnius, both for locals and city guests.
When?
We start at 6:30 AM – when the city is just waking up. We begin with a short briefing (about 15 minutes), during which you will hear everything you need to know: how to stand on a paddleboard, how to paddle, what to do if you fall, what route you will take, etc. After that – ~1–1.5 hours of adventure on the water!
Route
The tour starts at Žirmūnai beach (coordinates: 54.723521, 25.310847, map link, we meet at the top of the beach, by the parking lot) and continues to the White Bridge.
Along the way, worlds will change: from greenery and birds to architectural pearls. You will see the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Gediminas Tower, the Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Raduškevičiai Palace, the Church of St. Philip and St. James, and modern skyscrapers – the entire history of the city, in just one morning.
We recommend leaving your car at the White Bridge and arriving at the starting point by public transport or taxi – it will be easier that way.
What to wear?
Most importantly – something loose and comfortable. Sportswear that allows you to step into the water (roll up your pants if necessary 🙂). If the morning is cool, dress warmly. Have dry clothes in the car in case you accidentally fall in (the probability is very low, but it is better to be prepared). If you arrive without a car, you can leave your belongings with us and we will safely transport them to the finish line.
