Description
The performance reveals that Adam Mickiewicz's "Pan Tadeusz" is not just a poetic tale to strengthen the heart, but hides many modern and bitter motifs, far from just joyful admiration of the past. In Mateusz Nowak's acting interpretation, the characters of the Mickiewicz epic come to life: Tadeusz, Zosia, Telimena, Jankiel, the Magistrate, Maciek nad Maćkami, and others. It is a dynamic, energetic, and emotional story about love, passion, politics, sacrifice, and the fight for one's values. It is a storytelling theatre, spoken in the style of thirteen-syllable verse. It is an inversion of the epic – a dream about Pan Tadeusz. Mateusz Nowak is known for his intense and emotional performances. All his monodramas have been warmly received by audiences and critics, and the actor himself has earned recognition as one of the most prominent actors of monodramas in Poland.
