The musical "The Little Prince" is touring Lithuania and returns to the Vilnius Arena on November 14th.
"Naujoji opera" invites audiences to the musical for the whole family "The Little Prince," based on the famous work by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry – one of the most widely read literary masterpieces in the world. It is a sensitive, visually rich musical story that combines performing arts, live music, and poetic storytelling.
The performance features well-known Lithuanian stage artists – Serafimas Glušajevas, Sakalas Uždavinys, Vytautas Rašimas, Marta Lipčienė, Ingrida Žiliūtė, Emilija Finagėjavaitė, Donatas Mačiulis, and Jonas Sakalauskas. Together with the soloists, an orchestra, a choir, aerial acrobats, and symbolic fairy-tale characters appear on stage, creating an impressive, star-filled stage space. The music and libretto for the musical were written by composer and director Jonas Sakalauskas.
This musical production invites you to embark on a meaningful journey that reveals themes of friendship, responsibility, love, and human connection.
