Four exceptional jazz musicians from Lithuania, Sweden, and Latvia meet for a shared creative dialogue. The concert will feature original compositions by Mindaugas Stumbras and Linnea Jonsson, subtly complemented by the sound of Gediminas Stepanavičius' double bass and the rhythmic fabric masterfully created by Kaspars Kurdeko. It is an evening where different musical experiences merge into a cohesive and vibrant musical narrative.

Mindaugas Stumbras is one of the most prominent Lithuanian jazz guitarists and composers, whose music combines emotionality, intellect, and sonic imagination. Established on the international scene, the performer is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and his music is heard at prestigious European jazz festivals and clubs. His work blends jazz and world music, forming a broad stylistic spectrum. As a bandleader, he has released several albums that develop an original compositional language and contemporary jazz aesthetics. He actively pursues his career as a performer and composer, collaborating with various European music projects and artists.

Swedish trumpeter and composer Linnea Jonsson has rapidly emerged as one of the most prominent figures in contemporary Nordic jazz. Valued for her warm, lyrical trumpet sound and compelling compositions, she creates music that subtly blends Scandinavian melancholy, expressive improvisation, and melodic clarity.

A graduate of the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Jonsson leads her own ensemble and has performed with the most renowned Swedish jazz orchestras and artists. Her critically acclaimed debut album Fragments of Spring (2022) introduced her as an exceptional new talent, while her second album Hive Mind (2025) marks a mature creative stage – revealing even more of her distinctive musical style, rich ensemble interaction, and atmospheric musical storytelling.
