MATT LEN is Lithuania's urban cowboy – a singer and songwriter whose deep, mesmerizing voice weaves together American musical traditions, cinematic country rock, and folk, turning it all into stories about freedom, identity, and the open road.
Sometimes you leave not because you know where you want to go. You just realize one day that you can no longer stay.
'Call of the Open Roads' is an album about such turns in life. About late-night decisions, unspoken words, people you couldn't forget, and the homes you return to anyway. Sometimes by car. Sometimes only by motorcycle. Sometimes only in your thoughts.
This evening, the entire story of the album will be performed live for the first time – from songs born in 2014 to the latest tracks. Country and Americana meet rock energy and the pulse of electronics here.
Even if you hear these songs for the first time, their stories might seem familiar. Almost all of us have left something behind, left something unsaid, or waited too long for the right moment to return.
At 'Route 66', they will sound just as they should – live, with a bit of road dust.
Put on your favorite hat. Take someone with you whom you would hit the road with, even without knowing the final destination. And come.
We will travel the rest of the road together.
