MAGICAL FOREST. THE BEGINNING - an experiential performance for children of all heights *

An experience never before seen in lithuania for children and adults!!!

An open-air immersive light show for children of all heights: “MAGICAL FOREST. THE BEGINNING”. Nature is already dozing off, autumn is lulling earthly plants into a slumber and awakening unseen otherworldly creatures, glowing mushrooms, growing spirits, and shimmering animals that everyone must meet!

As soon as you step into the Forest, It knows: You have returned…

All the inhabitants of the world have already visited the Magical Forest. In fact, we all came from it. The Forest doesn't care how tall you are; it only cares that you remember: you are a part of it - you are magic. This is not a typical show that you watch from a dark hall - it is a story that you create yourself as you travel your own path through the glowing Forest.

Starting this autumn, the Magical Forest will awaken in the Vingis department of the Vilnius University Botanical Garden, in the western part of Vingis Park. At first glance, everything here is new, but upon closer inspection, you feel - you have been here before.

On the journey, we await:

THE ALLEY OF WHISPERS. A century-old linden path, glowing with thousands of unseen mushrooms, whispering lichens, swarming roots, and shimmering vines.

THE POND OF MEMORIES. Underwater lights, shadows above the water, and images from memory: settle onto the swings and drink in the fairy tale from the depths of the pond.

THE DOZING ROSE GARDEN. Don't be afraid of the thorns, they won't prick painfully. The autumn roses, not yet asleep, lead you through a labyrinth of thoughts, asking… What is your answer?

SAKURA INTERACTIVE. Sakura trees awakened by the hands of visitors. Only three magical buttons ignite the cherry branches with live laser beams.

THE GROVE OF SECRETS. Everyone has secrets, but only the brave dare to share and accept them. The Forest accepts everyone's secrets; it is not scary to share and discover here, we are safe here.

AROMATIC GLASS HOUSES. Greenhouses where scents grow. Breathe in the magical air, exhale your worries, and feel full of the pure and intangible - you will become magic.

THE BEAR'S MILL. A magically royal carousel will spin experiences into a colorful autumn dream, from which, like a dreamy bear, you won't want to wake up until spring.

THE GARDEN OF DELIGHTS. Hot tea, pancakes, pizza, vegetarian stew, and something sweet will invite you to share the adventure. They say the stomach is the second heart!

And that is certainly not all you will discover, experience, and feel in the Magical Forest. This is just THE BEGINNING.

Important to read the rules:

Tickets

1.1. Visitors are admitted to “Magical Forest. The Beginning” upon presentation of a valid ticket.

1.2. The ticket is valid for one selected event day and time specified on the ticket. On the same day, with the same ticket, you can enter the event area once.

1.3. It is recommended to arrive at the event at least 15 minutes early.

Visitors

2.1. “Magical Forest. The Beginning” is intended for children of all heights - both children and adults.

2.2. The accompanying adult is responsible for the supervision of minor visitors.

2.3. Children under 14 years of age are admitted to the garden area only when accompanied by parents or other adults.

2.4. Adults are responsible for the supervision and safety of young children in the garden area. Be especially careful when supervising them near water bodies, slopes, and stairs.

Visiting the VU Botanical Garden Vingis Department

3.1. Respect the territory of the VU Botanical Garden Vingis department, plants, decorations, installations, and other event property.

3.2. Damage caused to the garden or event property shall be compensated in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.

The event takes place outdoors

4.1. The event takes place in the VINGIS department of the VU (Vilnius University) Botanical Garden, in the western part of VINGIS Park.

4.2. Since the event takes place outdoors, it is recommended to choose clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather.

4.3. Pets are not allowed in the VU Botanical Garden VINGIS department. Exceptions are guide dogs and service dogs.

4.4. Smoking is prohibited in the garden area.

4.5. Open fire can only be used by the event organizers.

Arrival

5.1. By public transport: from the Čiurlionio St. side, the nearest stops are “Vingio parkas” and “Vinco Pietario” stops, and from the Žvėrynas side – “Liubarto tiltas”, “Kęstučio”, and “Latvių” stops. Buses 24, 2G, 56, N2, 7 and trolleybuses 16, 4, 4-2, 3, 7.

5.2. If you are arriving at the event by car, you can find information about the nearest parking lots at https://magiskasmiskas.lt/

5.3. You can arrive at Vingis Park by scooter or bicycle, but please leave them outside the VU Botanical Garden boundaries.

5.4. The entrance to the Botanical Garden has a steep slope, and if anyone finds it difficult to navigate, we invite you to use the entrance from the other side of the botanical garden. It is marked with an OUT icon on the map.

6.1. Hot food and hot drinks will be available for purchase at the event.

6.2. Carousel service for children.

6.3. Payment for paid services - by card and contactless payment by phone.

Photography

7.1. Photography and filming for personal use (by phone or other device) is free of charge. 7.2. Photography and filming for commercial purposes (for publications, advertising, social networks), as well as hiring a professional photographer, is only permitted with the permission of the VU Botanical Garden administration.
