Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra
Conductor Egidijus Kaveckas
The Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra presents a wonderful premiere for children and the whole family – "Wild Symphony," a work for children by the iconic American writer Dan Brown (b. 1964), author of the bestsellers "Angels & Demons," "The Da Vinci Code," and "Inferno."
Are you ready for an adventure? Climbing trees and crossing seas with Maestro Mouse and her musical group of friends, you will meet a giant blue whale, fast cheetahs, tiny beetles, and graceful swans. Each of them holds a secret they would like to share. "I wrote an original piece of modern classical music for each animal in my story – a short, fun composition that reflects the animal's unique personality. And with the help of new technology, each animal's music is accompanied by illustrations and text, creating a fully immersive storytelling experience," says D. Brown.
"Wild Symphony" is an unforgettable experience for the whole family, where an intriguing story, symphonic music, and visual art magically intertwine. D. Brown's musical adventure will come to life at the LVSO Concert Hall, accompanied by unique video projections and verses read by actress Gintarė Latvėnaitė from the children's favorite book, which was also published in Lithuanian in 2020 (translated by Julius Keleras). The Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Egidijus Kaveckas.
We recommend this concert for children aged 3–10.
