The children's opera "Puss in Boots" is a fun and educational two-act musical story for the whole family about cleverness, courage, and friendship, based on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault.
Puss in Boots is a wise, witty, and beloved fairy tale character. The story begins when a miller distributes his inheritance to his three sons: the eldest gets the mill, the middle one gets the donkey, and the youngest is left with the cat. The youngest is very saddened by this, but his furry friend quickly assures him that he is more valuable than he might seem at first glance. How do their adventures unfold? What tricks and plans does the cat come up with? What gifts and surprises does he use to amaze his master? We invite you to find out all this and more in this charming children's opera.
The opera "Puss in Boots" was initiated and directed by the renowned Lithuanian opera soloist and professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Vladimiras Prudnikovas. On the stage of the LVSO Concert Hall, the opera will be performed by young opera soloists and musicians of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Marius Rinkevičius. This is a wonderful opportunity for young listeners to open the doors to the enchanting world of opera theatre.
Recommended for children aged 5–12.
