Taigi Cirkas
A modern circus performance exploring the absurdities of life through acrobatics, dance, and opera.
This contemporary circus piece, born from the creators' reflections on everyday paradoxes, promises a unique blend of theater, aerial acrobatics, dance, and operatic singing. It deconstructs societal stereotypes surrounding the body, playing with the exaltation and destruction of circus techniques. "SAUCISSON" (French for "sausage") invites audiences into a world where sacred objects lose their symbolic meanings, pleasure intertwines with fear, and the verticality of a rope twists into a knot in the viewer's stomach. It's an exploration of what happens when the familiar becomes uncontrollable, absurd, and ultimately, vanishes.
