Grimm's fairy tales as you've never seen them: violent, chaotic, and grim, in an intimate circus-dance performance.
This contemporary circus performance delves into the original, uncensored Brothers Grimm fairy tales, predating their sanitization for children. It promises a raw and immersive experience, blending circus, dance, and storytelling to explore the darker, more chaotic aspects of these classic narratives. The show challenges audiences to confront the inexplicable and find shared understanding in stories that are both fantastical and deeply human.
"Grimmasos" is an experimental piece that invites a unique interaction between performers and a small audience, with three artists and three audience members actively creating the performance while others observe. It's a chance to see familiar tales reimagined through a lens of violence and revenge, offering a fresh perspective on the enduring power of folklore.
