Based on the novella by S. Šaltenis
Based on the novella by Saulius Šaltenis, the play tells the story of Andrius Šatas, a young man living in a small town in mid-20th century Lithuania, and his beloved Liuka, whose bright love story is overshadowed by the disagreements between the Šatas and Kaminskas families. "Nut Bread" at the Keistuoliai Theatre provides a breath of fresh air, resonating with the music of The Beatles and the footsteps of departing childhood.
This is a play for young people living in a constantly changing, slightly cynical environment that denies pure love, where one sometimes longs for a moment that allows one to say: "I am not alone!".
