The two-part crime story "The Pillowman" opens up an interrogation process that paints a grotesque and contradictory story of brothers Katurian (Matas Pranskevičius) and Michal (Lukas Auksoraitis). It turns out that the writer Katurian's works – short stories full of masterful puzzles – have unlimited freedom and influence; they are powerful tools capable of fulfilling revenge and bringing death.
Directed by Ieva Stundžytė, "The Pillowman" is not a typical Keistuoliai Theatre production at first glance. "The Pillowman" breathes with the cruelty experienced by those born under an unlucky star. However, this is only a surface layer, beneath which lies lightness and purification.
