The one-man show "DIAGNOSIS: TOTAL RUDNOSIUKAS" (or – "I came, I saw, I couldn't") is based on the first book of stories and anecdotes by director and writer Vytautas V. Landsbergis, "Rudnosiuko istorijos" (Rudnosiukas' Stories), which was awarded as the best children's book of that year, but do not be fooled, this play is intended for adults.

Are you sometimes threatened by Rudnosiukas? What are its symptoms, how to diagnose it, treat it, etc.? The typical Rudnosiukas seeks answers to these and many other questions, traveling through epochs - from the prehistoric times of Vytė Nemunėlis, through Soviet eras, occupations, and exiles, to the very present day.

"Rudnosiukas is that light madness that I would wish for every person. It is a childhood in which it is not scary to remain even as an adult. It is effectively a point of contact with your childhood, which you always carry with you, even if sometimes hidden deep inside, leveled, and buried. However, one should not forget what was good for you in childhood, what supported you, because that later supports you while living a simple, everyday adult life," says one of the Rudnosiukas of the play, actor Dalius Skamarakas.

"The axe met the head" – as the Rudnosiukas folk proverb says. We hope that this play will also meet your expectations, needs, and open a new page on the dusty shelf of childhood books.
