Donald Harold G. Bisset (1910-1955) was a well-known English writer, actor, TV producer, and screenwriter for animated films. A legendary English author, he created over forty books for children. His nonsense-style fairy tales are filled with all sorts of oddities and surprises, making readers laugh and wonder, as the imaginative author portrays the ordinary world in a non-serious, simply "upside-down" way. His short and strange tales were brought to life in the first Keistuoliai Theatre children's plays – "Once Upon a Time" and "Upside Down". Everyone is already well acquainted with Olaiva the snail, the piglet who wanted to fly, Albertina the crow, the grumpy uncle, Sandy the grasshopper, and many other characters, but there are still many strange fairy tale inhabitants left in the book who would like to make friends with children. So, William the gosling and Martha the ant will invite you to share their strange stories and adventures, Taškė the cow will perform a song of her own creation, and a beetle will test his endurance against a bulldozer named Butch.
With a team of young actors, the director will attempt to turn D. Bisset's somewhat unexpected fairy tales into a musical journey of unforgettable adventures, which both children and adults can embark upon. After all, we all sometimes miss miracles or songs, we all hide from strange fears, or look for new friends. That is somewhat what William the gosling thought: "How good it would be if someone said 'Beep beep!' to me." Pigeons cooed, ducks quacked, and crows cawed in the treetops. But no one, absolutely no one, said to him: "Beep beep."
