Over more than 15 years, kamanių šilelis has traveled to many stages and cities, gathering new experiences along the way. This March, the band stepped onto the biggest stage of their career - the "RITUALAI" show held at the "Arena Vilnius" arena became a shared experience of Lithuanian roots and togetherness for thousands of people. In the music of kamanių šilelis, old Lithuanian folk songs take on a new form, electronic rhythms intertwine with live instruments, and melancholy turns into dance. At their concerts, you never know where the next song will lead – perhaps to a deeply familiar feeling, or perhaps to a rhythm that is impossible to resist.

Currently, the duo is working on a new album, so by the time we meet at Kalnų parkas, their musical world will have been enriched with new sounds. And next summer, the music will move into the embrace of the forest, under the open sky – to a place where the city bustle remains somewhere beyond the trees, where in the middle of the city, something primal, intimate, and hard to describe can briefly emerge.
