On October 17 at 5 PM, dancers from two different generations meet in the movement performance-meditation "Rieduliai" (Boulders).
Boulders are large stones. They can be found in fields or on riverbanks. In some places, there are a few of them, or even an entire boulder field. We carry quite a few of them within ourselves. On our shoulders or under our hearts. As the years go by, we gradually accumulate more and more of them. They make us heavy. And life with them is heavy. They are difficult to carry. Rolling them is much easier. When you can no longer lift, perhaps you can roll? When you can no longer walk forward, can you roll?
"Rieduliai" is a meditative movement piece-experience about inability, accepting that inability, and pushing off from it, thus finding other ways to act. Using various forms of rolling as a way to travel, the dancers use their bodies to create a slowly changing landscape in space. Various images emerge within it: from nature motifs to recognizable human actions or states. They emerge and submerge back into the journey of rolling, filling the space with peace and leaving plenty of room for the viewer's imagination.

Dominyka Markevičiūtė-Jurgaitienė is a dancer, dance artist, and teacher of the younger generation. In 2023, she completed contemporary dance studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts and a teaching qualification. After her studies, Dominyka joined the professional dance scene as a performer and creator. She has collaborated with various Lithuanian and foreign choreographers, including Lukas Karvelis, Liza Baliasnaja, Palle Granhøj, Nicolas Cantillon, and Pietro Marullo. In 2024, Dominyka was nominated for a Golden Stage Cross for her performance in the solo dance piece "Kur krantas" (choreographer Lukas Karvelis). That same year, she was recognized as the most memorable dancer of 2024, awarded the Contemporary Dance Association prize.
Aistė Kriukelytė has been in the world of contemporary dance for over 30 years. She also holds a diploma in Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy (IBMT Institute, UK) and a Master's degree in Dance-Movement Therapy (VU/LMTA, Vilnius). She has created choreography for several dance performances ("4-2-3", "Čia buvo vanduo") and several miniatures. Her works have been shown at the New Baltic Dance festival (2008, 2020) and in Mexico (2018). Aistė works extensively with somatic movement: as a dancer and choreographer, as a therapist, and as an educator. She explores the boundaries of applying somatic movement, which leads to innovative ideas (movement based on scent, dance for one spectator, etc.). She teaches somatic movement at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
