Lithuanian school youth song festival joint accordion orchestra concert
Opportunities to hear what hundreds of accordions playing together sound like are very rare. This instrument, which is usually played solo, requires exceptional mastery. Musicians perform at least three actions simultaneously: they play the melody with the right hand, play chords with the left hand, and control the dynamics with both hands. More than 300 young masters of this instrument are preparing a colorful program that will feature both Lithuanian folk music motifs and Western European classical melodies.
Admission with free tickets only.
