On July 11, for one special occasion, three different yet closely resonating musical directions will unite: British phenomenon Jacob Collier, the legendary vocal sextet Take 6, and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra. The program will be conducted by a guest from the United Kingdom, conductor and violinist Suzie Collier, the primary shaper of Jacob Collier's musical world.

In contemporary music, the name Collier signifies original thinking, a multi-layered sound, and a rare ability to connect different traditions. Having entered the world's spotlight while still a teenager, the creator is now a seven-time Grammy winner, crafting an organic musical language where jazz harmonies, choral polyphony, pop melodies, R&B sensibilities, and classical precision function as a cohesive whole. In live performances, Collier impresses with energy and the freedom of improvisation. These are evenings where the audience becomes a natural part of the creation, and his playful stage style highlights the emotional pulse of the music.

Joining this evening will be Take 6, one of the most influential vocal ensembles in the world, which has shaped the contemporary a cappella, gospel, and jazz vocal tradition. Their precise, multi-layered sound has inspired more than one generation of performers and earned international recognition and numerous awards, including Grammys. Take 6 was an early source of inspiration for Collier. The impressions from concerts attended in childhood have grown into a creative dialogue that is mutual and vibrant today.

The Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra will add another dimension to the program. This was a clear wish of the performers themselves and conductor Suzie Collier: Jacob Collier, who performs with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Orchestre de Paris, and BBC Symphony Orchestra, was looking not just for an orchestra for this Vilnius program, but for a sensitive musical partner capable of responding to the polyphony, rhythmic vitality, and improvisational freedom of his music.

The program will be conducted by Suzie Collier, a British conductor, violinist, and honorary member of the Royal Academy of Music. Jacob Collier has often said that it was she who taught him to think polyphonically, to listen to choral music, to recognize the colors of harmony, and to trust his creative intuition. A meeting of mother and son on stage, together with one of Lithuania's most prominent orchestras, is a rare and musically exceptional occasion.
