When consulting a patient regarding planned implantation and creating a treatment plan, it is very important to evaluate bone defects, soft tissues, surrounding structures, and potential pathologies.
The goal of this seminar is to learn how to analyze 3D images, recognize pathologies, plan future treatment, and effectively apply cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) in daily practice.
The seminar is intended for dentists, periodontists, maxillofacial surgeons, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and oral surgeons – both beginners and those wishing to deepen their knowledge.
The seminar lecturer is oral surgeon Milda Vitosytė.
The qualification improvement course program is approved by the Ministry of Health. 6 academic hours of professional development are provided.

09:30 – 10:30 CBCT basics, scanning protocols, errors, and artifacts;
10:30 – 11:00 Coffee break;
11:00 – 12:00 Legal aspects and documentation;
12:00 – 13:00 CBCT anatomy and pathological changes;
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch;
14:00 – 15:00 Application of CBCT in different fields of dentistry.
15:30 – 17:30 Practical demonstration: CBCT case analysis, implantation planning.
