What will happen when you stand on stage with someone you are seeing for the first time?

We invite you to Impro Open Mic #8, an open and unpredictable improvisation show, with a special atmosphere created by live music performed by Saulius Sakavičius. On stage – not only members of "Impro241", but also improvisers who have registered specifically for this evening. Before the event, the selected participants meet for one joint rehearsal – to get to know each other, coordinate, and have a safe start on stage. However, everything else is born here and now: new partners, new situations, and unexpected stage solutions become a challenge for the improvisers themselves, and for the audience – one of the most interesting parts of this format.

Six years ago, the tradition of OPEN MICs was born from a desire to expand the boundaries of improvisation and create a sense of community in the Lithuanian improvisation scene: to involve as many people as possible – both those creating professionally and for their own pleasure. Both members of other troupes and people who do not have their own troupe. In June, we will meet for the seventh time!

Improvisation does not exist without you. Your suggestions and your reactions play their own role in the show just as much. If you are curious but not yet brave enough to get on stage yourself, if you want to support a friend, or if you just miss live, unpredictable action, come!
