The Lithuanian Art Therapy Association (LDTA) invites you to a two-day conference-seminar, where professional insights, international experience, and live creative experience meet.
On October 23, a conference (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM) will be held, bringing together mental health, social support, education, and art therapy specialists. We will talk about what is becoming increasingly important today - the ability to see a person through creativity, emotions, and relationships. The conference will feature presentations by Lithuanian and foreign lecturers, presenting modern art therapy methods, practical work models, and the latest professional insights.

On October 24 (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM), we invite you to an exclusive SEMINAR “INTEGRATED PRACTICE: CREATIVITY, MOVEMENT, STORYTELLING” with art therapist and lecturer from Switzerland, Camilla Mele, PhD.
In her work, Prof. Camilla Mele combines art therapy, movement, music, drama, and trauma-informed methods. Camilla has been working for over 15 years in the fields of social inclusion, community development, conflict resolution, and humanitarian aid. Her work includes developing training programs for refugees, vulnerable communities, and humanitarian aid specialists, applying therapeutic methodologies from different art disciplines. Camilla created, coordinates, and teaches in the TRACE (Trauma-Informed Creative Arts Therapy) program at the University of Padua, where she teaches how art therapy can help people overcome traumatic experiences. Her methods combine body awareness practices and art therapy to strengthen resilience, body self-perception, and changes in traumatic experience at both the individual and community levels.
In the full-day experiential seminar, participants will be invited to explore an integrated art therapy model through art therapy, movement, music, and storytelling. The practical seminar activities are focused on personal and professional development, deeper reflection, experiencing group processes, and integrating the methodology into the participants' professional activities.
The seminar includes body awareness and movement practices, a creative art process, musical improvisation, individual and group reflection, and work in pairs and small groups. Number of participants - up to 40 people. The seminar is held in person only.
Seminar duration: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, coffee and lunch breaks are scheduled*.
Certificates will be issued to event participants***.
* Lunch is not included in the ticket price during the event. ** Presentations by foreign lecturers and the seminar will be held in English, with translation into Lithuanian. *** Information on how to receive certificates will reach you after the event.
We invite you to attend both days, but you can choose to attend only the conference (October 23) or the seminar (October 24).
