Microbatics is a movement practice born from the personal need of contemporary circus artist and TEMPO performer Winston Reynolds to experience acrobatics in a more sustainable, refined, and long-term way. It emerged from the experience of injuries, physical limitations, and a continuous process of exploration. This prompted a rethinking of the phenomenon of acrobatics, treating it not as a spectacle or a sequence of individual tricks, but as a living, internal, and constantly adapting language of movement that changes along with the body and its capabilities. The practice of microbatics examines how the principles of acrobatics can naturally integrate into a broader spectrum of body movements. It encourages freedom of movement, a better sense of space, and functional movement applicable in everyday life. The main focus here is not on external performance, but on internal experience and the quality of movement. The workshop is intended for those with stage movement experience: professionals, students, advanced practitioners, and others working with dance, circus, theater, or other forms of body and movement art.
