On November 30, 2026, at 7:00 PM, two generations and two creative unions sharing one surname – Arbačiauskas – will meet on the stage of St. Catherine's Church.
Giedrius, Agnė, Jonas, Nojus, and Marius have joined their musical forces into a single family collective and promise to surprise the audience with their creativity.
Actor Giedrius Arbačiauskas has been on stage for over 30 years. Sung poetry is an activity deeply loved by Giedrius and close to his heart. He writes his own songs, inspired by the poems of beloved modern Lithuanian poets. Sometimes the poem itself sounds like a song, and sometimes he searches for text to fit a melody.
Since 2007, Giedrius and Agnė have formed a stage duo. The sounds of the cello enrich the guitar's resonance, fill the space, and create a beautiful ensemble with Giedrius's voice. Having created a musical-literary program, they perform in many Lithuanian cities and appear at various events and festivals.
Their son Nojus follows in his parents' footsteps; music and original songwriting are a part of his life. He plays the piano, sings, and has completed his studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Jonas and Nojus have created their own program featuring their original songs. In July 2026, they participated in the Young Bards Camp, where they deepened their creative knowledge.
Marius has formed his own band and has been inseparable from his bass guitar since the age of 15, participating in various events and concerts.
The creativity of the younger family members has greatly enriched the Giedrius and Agnė duo with new ideas, instrumental colors, and youthful energy.
This family collective first appeared in 2024 at the Purpurinis vakaras festival. This year, they participated in the Akacijų Alėja bard festival. They received a great deal of support and affection from the audience.
During the darkest time of the year, good music experts "Bardai LT" invite you to a meeting with the group ArbaČia to draw light and fill your souls with the magic of sung poetry.
