Young generation artist Aurelija Zaburaitė on the exhibition:
"The intensely blazing sun rises, its rays piercing through the surface of the earth. Silhouettes and creatures melting from the heat emerge upon it. The figures and portraits are ephemeral; affected by the heat, they vanish into outlines or are etched into the landscape as dark spots. Their gaze disappears as well – all that remains are dots, drowned in the totality and dried by the sun. The landscape itself empties as if scorched by the sun, leaving only traces of clean activity and a few scattered, ambiguous objects. The colors of nature degenerate and begin to melt in the apocalyptic light. Perhaps it is just a mirage, images caught in a horizon affected by sunstroke? Perhaps these are dreams caused by an eternal walk through the desert? In the sand dunes and wastelands, nothing useful remains, only a fresh spring that unexpectedly flickers like an oasis."
